sean harvey, D.D.S.

Dr. Sean Harvey was born and raised in West Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated from Valley High School. He completed a B.S. in Physiology and Developmental Biology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He received his dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Iowa City.

After leaving Iowa City, Dr. Harvey completed a one-year internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He then continued on to receive his post-graduate oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  

Dr. Harvey is board eligible with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, the Des Moines District Dental Society, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Harvey and his wife, Stephanie, live in Urbandale with their four young boys. They enjoy spending time with family, reading, live music, hockey, and football.
