Joshua Richman, D.D.S.
Dr. Joshua Richman was born and raised in Dubuque, IA, and graduated from Wahlert Catholic High School. He attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate education and dental training.
Dr. Richman completed an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2009 at the University of Illinois at Chicago and his post-graduate residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, in 2013. During residency, Dr. Richman received the Reverend M.I. Franczak Scholarship Award in recognition of his academic and clinical excellence. Dr. Richman’s professional interests include dentoalveolar/implant surgery, trauma surgery, and orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery.
Dr. Richman is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also holds membership in the Midwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Iowa Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, and the Des Moines District Dental Society.
Dr. Richman resides in Ankeny and enjoys cycling, cooking, record collecting, live music, and sports of all kinds — Go Hawkeyes!
